NO BUG THIS FRIDAY

As we heard from The Bug's agent:

"Really bad news.

We heard back from US consulate today in London & Kingston. Despite all our best efforts in the last 3.5 weeks they're telling us that Marc/Flowdan won't be able to get his US work Visa for 4 weeks, and Annette/Warrior won't be able to get hers until Monday 28th (obviously to late for these shows). The level of bureaucracy and hoop jumping on this has been ridiculous. We received the approval on June 28th and 4 weeks later this is where we're at.

I've discussed with Kev and both of us feel like just doing a DJ set isn't the way to launch The Bug in US.

So regrettably we're going to have to pull these shows.
Really sorry about the late notice on this. As of last week we really thought we could get Marc on as a back up plan, particularly as we got a really fast turnaround on Kevin's Visa, but it's not going to work out.

Let me know what sort of consequences this has for your nights or if anything has come out of pocket.

We're going to salvage the Toronto & Montreal shows as we did get CDN papers in time, so if you see those still advertised that's why.
